Regardless of Valkyrie's end goals, she's already made an impact on Apex Legends fans. It's through Blisk, though, that she is able to find her father's remains and entry into the Apex Games. Or perhaps she blames herself, given her father did not leave with Blisk until after she stole his Titan for a joyride - implying that Blisk only found them because of the Titan's appearance in the middle of a battlefield. Valkyrie, it seems, is just in it to prove herself this time around, having longed to be a pilot. It's a sentiment that has already led to many Apex players feeling a strong connection to Valkyrie, even before her Season 9 arrival. Viper dies in that fight, and he dies rough.
